One Room Challenge Week 4 | Staining Beams & Starting the Cloffice!

Next up for my office/guest bedroom renovation is the cloffice (closet + office). I am building a desk in the closet, saving space in the main area of the room for a sofa bed in order to easily switch this room over to a guest room when needed. See my mood board below for my cloffice design!

This is currently what the space looks like. I plant to paint the closet a dark color, add skinny lap, and then build a floating desk top and floating shelves! Follow along with me on my Instagram Stories to see the entire process!

This past week I finished building my faux vertical beams and I will be staining them tomorrow! Although I am still trying to decide what stain color/combination to use, I am leaning towards a dark and warm color so it contrast with the bright white brick wall but doesn't clash with the warm floor color.
